Texel Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-11-08

This policy applies to the iOS app Texel (Bundle ID: com.lingxifox.LingXiStyle), including its Share Extension, Shortcuts actions, and this website.

Summary: The developer does not operate a server that stores photos or accounts. Photos are accessed through PhotoKit only when you explicitly select them and are processed on your device. The app contains no advertising, analytics SDK, or cross-app tracking. The free quota is stored in the local Keychain; Pro entitlement is verified by Apple StoreKit. This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts.

1. Photos we access

When you select a photo or import a file, the app reads the original HEIC / HEIF resource to add texture and grain on your device. The converted result is saved as a new photo in your library through PhotoKit. The original photo is never modified, overwritten, or deleted.

Saving requires Add to Photos permission; reading requires photo-library access. You can revoke either permission at any time in iOS Settings. After revocation, you can still import from Files for features that do not need library read access.

2. On-device data

The free quota counter is stored in the device's Keychain to limit free conversions per calendar day. The app has no account system and does not upload the counter to a developer server.

Deleting the app may not immediately remove the quota counter from the Keychain; it may persist after reinstalling. Converted photos are managed by the system Photos app until you delete them.

3. Network and third parties

The developer does not receive your photos and does not operate a photo-upload service. The following system flows may use the network: PhotoKit downloads iCloud originals from Apple iCloud; purchases, restores, and transaction verification are handled by Apple StoreKit. These flows are governed by Apple's privacy policy and terms.

The app does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or social SDKs. Sharing is handled by the iOS system share sheet; the recipient you choose is governed by its own privacy policy.

4. Collection and tracking

The developer does not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, advertising identifier, or photo content; does not track you across apps; and does not sell personal information. App Store download, purchase, and refund data is handled by Apple.

5. Children

The app is not designed for children and contains no accounts, social features, or user-generated content. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Your choices and rights

You can manage photo permissions in iOS Settings, view Pro status and restore purchases in the app's settings, or delete saved photos through the system. If your jurisdiction grants you rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of personal information, you can contact us below. Because the developer does not hold your photos or account, it generally cannot access content on your device on your behalf.

7. This website and hosting logs

This is a static website hosted on Cloudflare Pages. The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking scripts.

As with any website, Cloudflare may process standard request information to deliver pages, prevent abuse, and keep the service secure — for example, IP address, User-Agent, request path, and timestamp. Cloudflare handles these logs under its privacy policy. The developer does not use them to identify individuals or build profiles.

The feedback link on this site points to GitHub Issues. GitHub is a separate service; what you submit is public by default and is governed by GitHub's privacy policy and terms. Do not upload private photos, account details, or other sensitive material to an issue.

8. Changes

This policy may be updated when features or legal requirements change. Material changes will be marked with a new update date on this page. Please review the latest version before continuing to use the app.

9. Contact

For privacy questions, data requests, or deletion requests, contact us through GitHub Issues. Because the developer does not hold your photos or account, it generally cannot access content on your device on your behalf.

Please include only the minimum information needed to resolve the issue. Do not post your Apple ID, purchase receipt, private photos, or device serial number publicly.
